A SITUATION HAS CAME UP ABOUT THE SIZE AND/OR ALTERATIONS OF A FEW Flyers jerseys. Let me explain what they are.
When buying sets of jerseys or groups of jerseys from the Philadelphia Flyers, we noticed differences in the jerseys. The player would have two jerseys in a set, which could be due to alteration, sizing and /or both. Another could be one with a “A” or one without the “A” I repeat; There could be two different jerseys for a particular player. One with alteration and the other with a different size than he normally wore. Sometimes the same size and both altered. Various combinations occurred.
The trainer would have let the player wear both jerseys, as anything in the set should be game worn. IF not he would tell me. Same things if I got a group of players before the set was done, if they were unused, that’s how I sold them. If not, they were game worn.
So, your homework process needs to include that this possibly happened. Bill Stahl can verify this as he was working for me at the time and would log in the sets and jerseys as they come in.
Speaking of these jersey logs Bill made, I do still have a lot of them piled up here and have used them to go back and look for this issue several times.
So, in closing, yes you could have Flyers jerseys with little light use and the players wrong size, doesn’t make it a bad jersey, just means you’re going to need me to help, which I have done many times over the years in this kind of circumstance.
